The Hot Dogs at a Winery Thing
Every winery in Prince Edward County serves the same charcuterie board. Cured meats, a few cheeses, dried fruit, crackers. Don’t get us wrong — we like a charcuterie board too. But we wanted to do something different.
So we serve hot dogs.
Not gas-station hot dogs. Gourmet all-beef hot dogs. Kimchi with chive mayo and toasted sesame. A mango salsa dog with house-made salsa and homegrown chives. And the classic done right with mustard, ketchup, sweet relish, and onion. They’re $7 each — eat them on the patio with a wine flight and tell us they’re not the best lunch you’ve had this week.
They’re still the workhorse of the menu. But this year they share the patio with a whole spread of fresh, summery, globally-inspired plates built to eat with a glass of natural wine.
Garden-Sourced When We Can
The herbs on your plate didn’t come out of a jar. We have gardens at the winery and we use them — dill and oregano in the popcorn, thyme on the whipped feta, basil on the pan tumaca, mint on the watermelon, cilantro and chives across the board. When something’s in season and growing twenty feet from the kitchen, that’s what’s in your food.
It’s not a “farm to table” marketing slogan. It’s just how a small family winery in Prince Edward County does it when we have room for a garden and time to walk to it.

When Food Is Available
Daily — Sun–Thu 11am–7pm · Fri–Sat 11am–9pm (Jun 19–Oct 11), same hours as the tasting room.
Food is served in kraft trays and boxes — easy to carry to your table, out to the lawn, or to a hammock. If you’re coming for a flight or a wine slushie, add food to your visit. If you’re coming specifically for the food, even better — bring a friend.

Best Time for Food
