How to find these at your local LCBO
Use the LCBO Store Locator and search with the SKU number from above to check availability at stores near you. Stocking varies by location — popular wines may sell out quickly during peak seasons.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are all Traynor wines available at the LCBO?
No — the LCBO carries our core lineup (the 10 wines listed above). For library wines, experimental small-batch releases, vermouths, and seasonal bottlings, you'll need to order direct from us or visit the vineyard.
Can I order Traynor wines from the LCBO online?
Yes. Most of our LCBO listings are available for delivery via lcbo.com. Use the SKU number from the listings above to find the wine on lcbo.com, or use the LCBO Store Locator to check in-store availability near you.
What's the difference between LCBO General List and Vintages?
General List wines are stocked year-round at most LCBO stores. Vintages is LCBO's premium and limited-release program — those wines rotate by release schedule and are stocked at fewer locations. Most of our LCBO wines are on the General List; some special releases land in Vintages.
What's a CSPC number?
CSPC stands for Canadian Standard Product Code — it's the LCBO's unique identifier for each wine in their system. Use it to find a specific wine on lcbo.com or at the store. The CSPC is what we list as "SKU" on this page.
Are Traynor wines at the LCBO vegan?
Yes. All Traynor wines, whether at the LCBO or direct from us, are 100% vegan — no animal-derived fining agents like egg whites or isinglass are used in our winemaking.
Can I find Traynor wines outside Ontario?
Through the LCBO, no — LCBO listings are Ontario-only. We ship direct from our online store across most of Canada. Email us at retail@traynorvineyard.com to ask about shipping to your province.
What does "VQA Ontario" mean on the labels?
VQA stands for Vintners Quality Alliance — Ontario's appellation system. "VQA Ontario" means the wine is made from 100% Ontario-grown grapes that have passed VQA's quality standards. "VQA Niagara Peninsula" means the fruit is specifically from the Niagara region.
Why are some wines made with Niagara fruit if Traynor is in Prince Edward County?
Like most Ontario wineries, we grow some of our own grapes (at our 5.5-acre vineyard in Hillier, PEC) and source the rest from select grower partners across Ontario, mostly in the Niagara Peninsula. Our pet-nats, piquette, and rosé are typically VQA Ontario blends; our Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Gamay Noir, and Merlot are VQA Niagara Peninsula. Every wine is made by us in PEC.
Why Traynor?
Vegan-friendly. All our wines are 100% vegan — no animal byproducts used in winemaking.
Sustainably made. We're an Ontario Living Wage Employer practicing low-intervention farming, in respect for our land and the people who work it.
Wild fermentation. Our wines ferment naturally, letting the Prince Edward County terroir come through in every bottle.
Artisanal process. From pressing to bottling, everything is done here by hand, by family.

About Traynor Family Vineyard
Mike and family started Traynor Family Vineyard in 2008. The winery opened to the public in 2014. We're based in Hillier, Prince Edward County — about a two-hour drive east of Toronto.
Some of what we've been part of in Ontario wine: pioneering skin-fermented (orange) wine in 2013, making Ontario's first commercial piquette in 2019, and being among the first Ontario producers of natural pet-nats. Our vermouths — Madonna (2017) and Haberdasher (2018) — were among the first artisanal vermouths in the province.
We make wine the way it's been made for thousands of years: ferment naturally, intervene as little as possible, and let the place and the season speak.
