Product Description: Madonna is our dry white vermouth — Ontario's first artisanal vermouth, made in Prince Edward County since 2017. Over 20 herbs, spices, and flowers from our gardens.
Tasting Notes: A rich bouquet of florals — lavender, lilac, and chamomile on the nose. The palate is light golden apple with sumac threading through different flowers on each sip.
Winemaker's Notes: The inspiration behind this wine comes from the winemaker's childhood memories of his mother's herb garden. He enlisted local growers and began to forage from the farm, collecting everything fresh and infusing the wine with them. Made from a blend of wines — every year we retain approximately 1/3 of inventory and blend into new production, similar to a modified solera method, to build character and consistency.

"The flavours are smartly balanced, with none dominating. And fans of bone-dry martinis may be happy to know this is one very dry vermouth." — Beppi Crosariol, The Globe and Mail

Light cheeses (chèvre, brie, feta), grilled seafood with herb butter, fruit-based desserts (raspberry sorbet, cherry clafoutis), salads with citrus dressing. Or just on its own as an aperitif.
What is vermouth? Is Madonna vegan?
Vermouth is a fortified wine infused with herbs, spices, and flowers. Madonna is our dry white vermouth — Ontario's first artisanal vermouth, made since 2017 with 20+ botanicals from our gardens. Vegan. 15.5% ABV. Dominated by lavender, lilac, and chamomile.
