Most wineries in PEC say "kids welcome." Which usually means "your kids are allowed on the patio if they're quiet and don't run around." That's not really family-friendly. That's just "kids tolerated."
We did it differently. We built actual family infrastructure: a kids play area, an ice cream trailer, free Friday Family Movie Nights starting in June, and a menu that has options kids actually want to eat.
Parents get a real wine experience. Kids get a real outing. Nobody has to apologize for being there.

An actual designated space with play equipment, not just "the grass over there." Kids can play while you taste. You can see the play area from the Vineyard Patio so you're not constantly checking on them.

Friday Family Movie Nights (Launching June 2026)
Every Friday evening from June through September: free outdoor family movies under the Sail Garden Patio. Free popcorn, kids play area open, ice cream trailer staffed.

While the grown-ups have wine slushies ($11), the kids get juice-based slushies. Same patio energy, age-appropriate beverage.

The Best Day for Families
- Morning at the beach - Sandbanks (25 min) or North Beach (15 min). Get the wiggles out.
- Late morning arrival at Traynor - around 11am.
- Order hot dogs + supreme fries. Kids eat the classic, adults try the kimchi.
- Wine flight or slushie for adults, juice slushie for the kids. Sit on the Vineyard Patio so you can see the play area.
- Kids hit the play area while you finish your wine. Ice cream from the trailer.
- (Friday only) Stay for Family Movie Night - free, starts at dusk.
- Buy a bottle on the way out.
