Breakfast Before the Vineyard

Breakfast Before the Vineyard

  • Harvest To Bottle

The Breakfast in the Vineyard Glou Glou turned into something fruity and fun, perfect for the first sip of the day — it’s light and easy to drink and reminds the team at Traynor of a big bag of juicy Jolly Ranchers, and who doesn’t want to start their day off like that? If you’re interested in how this experimental wine came to be, definitely check out Mike’s very thorough recollection in his winemaking notes. It will make you appreciate that first sip even more.

With the warmer weather approaching the team at Traynor is hoping to safely welcome guests back to the patio for tastings! Prince Edward County is not only known for its wineries — the food and restaurant scene is seriously getting more incredible every year. As visitors start planning their getaway the team recommends starting the day off with a sip (or two) of Glou Glou accompanied by a bite from a local breakfast spot.

We know planning first thing in the morning can be a challenge (especially if that morning is following a full day of wine tasting), so we did the hard work for you and put together a list of where you can grab breakfast in Prince Edward County, whether you’re enjoying it as a picnic at the vineyard, or cozied up in bed.
