Product Description: 100% Merlot from a warm Niagara Peninsula microclimate, aged in neutral French oak for 8 months. Deep, dry, full-bodied with cranberry, plum, and dark chocolate notes.
Tasting Notes: Beautiful deep colour with fresh plum, sweet cherry, and dark chocolate on the nose. On the palate, cranberry sauce, Christmas dinner spices, and soft rich tannins.
Winemaker's Notes: Merlot can be tricky to grow in Ontario. Fortunately, our primary Niagara grower has a great site with a warm microclimate. The fruit consistently ripens with beautiful fruit flavour and tobacco nuance. Aged in neutral French oak barrels for 8 months before bottling.
