Green Meanie Pet-Nat.
On the palate, light and effervescent with a subtle sweetness balanced by zesty acidity. The finish is long and subtle, with a hint of nectarine.
Introduce yourself to the unique taste of our lightly sparkling Pet-Nat wine, crafted from 100% Vidal grapes, fermented and bottled at our winery in Prince Edward County. Vegan, natural, and made using traditional methods.
The story behind this bottle
We loved the aromatic profile of this wine so much during fermentation that we decided to accelerate the process and bottle it as a Pet-Nat. Bottled at the very end of fermentation, low in alcohol, light, and just enough punch to keep it exciting.

Frequently Asked Questions.
How should I serve Green Meanie?
Cold. Colder is better. Open carefully - pet-nats can sometimes be lively on opening. A standard wine glass works, but a tulip or flute helps showcase the natural bubbles.
What food pairs well with Green Meanie?
Seafood, lightly spiced dishes, grilled vegetables, soft cheese. Our "made for a summer day" wine - works with anything you'd eat on a patio.
What's a Pet-Nat? Is this vegan?
Petillant Naturel - a sparkling wine bottled before fermentation finishes, so it carbonates naturally in the bottle. 100% Vidal, 10.1% ABV, 3 g/L residual sugar. Fully vegan. VQA Ontario.
How long will Green Meanie keep after opening?
Best to drink in one sitting. Crown cap - no re-capping. A sparkling-wine stopper buys you a day. Otherwise the bubbles drop quickly.
Where can I buy Green Meanie?
Direct at the winery, online (Ontario), select restaurants, and at the LCBO - CSPC 38293.
