Our natural wine collection includes a range of unique styles, including orange wine, glou-glou, and clarete.

Orange wine is a style of white wine that is made using extended skin contact, resulting in a wine with a unique amber colour and tannic structure.

Glou-glou is a French term that refers to a wine that is easy to drink, often with lower alcohol content and a fruity flavour. It is often made using natural winemaking techniques, including the ripasso method, which involves fermenting young wine on the lees of partially fermented wine.

Clarete is a style of wine that is made using a blend of red and white grapes, resulting in a wine with a pale pink colour. It is often produced using minimal amounts of sulphites.

At Traynor Family Vineyard, we are committed to sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint. We farm our estate vineyard using permaculture and low-intervention practices - no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides - though we are not certified organic. Permaculture seeks to create a sustainable and self-sufficient ecosystem by mimicking the relationships found in natural ecosystems.

We also utilize only the finest Ontario fruit grown in Prince Edward County and the Niagara Peninsula and are striving to become a zero-waste winery. Our natural wines are crafted with care, using minimal intervention. Our vegan offerings are made without animal-derived fining agents, furthering our commitment to sustainability and compassion.
