Inspired by local traditions and spring flavours, our Maple Apple Wine, part of the Wine Lab series, is a unique fortified cider that captures the flavour of some of the region's great traditions. This part of Ontario was once one of the largest apple-producing regions in the world, and honestly, what is more Canadian than Maple Syrup? So we decided to blend them together!
Crafted with a careful process of skin-fermenting choice apples and enriching them with local maple syrup from Walts Sugar Shack, this blend is 75% cider and 25% maple syrup, resulting in an 18% alcohol content and a residual sweetness of 54g/L.
It boasts a comforting aroma of warm apples, enriched with maple's smooth sweetness and a hint of spice. Enjoy a sip of this exquisite creation and savour the meticulous balance of flavours that only the Wine Lab series can offer.
