Tasting Notes:

This Pet-Nat wine has a lively and fruity taste with notes of dried strawberry, watermelon and sundried tomato. Fizzy and slightly tart, it finishes with a pink candy floss finish. Perfect for any fun occasion.

Winemaker's Note:

Last year was the first that we made a Rose Pet-Nat and the truth is, we loved it. So we made more this year. We followed the same process as 2020, where we lightly pressed the fruit and added the skins back to the Gamay Noir red wine fermentation. The light pressing helped extract a lively pink colour and a slight hint of tannin. We changed how we bottled this year. We clarified the wine a little more than last year and bottled it with lower residual sugar. The result is that the carbonation is much more manageable.
